The Balkan History Association was represented by its president, Mihai Dragnea, at the international workshop “Premodern Economic Sanctions“, which took place in Basel on 3-5 September 2025. The workshop was organized by the Department of History of the University of Basel and funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
