The Balkan History Association has signed a cooperation agreement with the Center for Historical Research (CeHiS) within the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo, whose aim is to affirm scholarly research in the field of historiography, to strengthen intra-disciplinary communication within the Bosnian and Herzegovinian historiographical community, and to foster collaboration with neighboring and international historiographies.
The partnership aims to promote interdisciplinary research on Bosnia and Herzegovina while exploring the connections to the Balkans and the broader South-Eastern European cultural, political, economic, and social landscape through conferences, lectures, and the publication of thematic volumes.
The association is represented by its president, Mihai Dragnea, the vice-president, Dorina Dragnea, and Florin Cristescu (member). The Center for Scientific Research is represented by its head, Amra Šačić Beća, associate professor at the Department of History of the University of Sarajevo.
