The Balkan History Association was represented by its president, Mihai Dragnea, vice-president, Dorina Dragnea, and member, Ana-Maria Lepăr (online), at the first international symposium, “The Power of Language and the Memory of Culture: Common Values in the Turkic World”. The event took place in Baku on 15 December (hybrid mode) and was organized by the Ebu’l-Hasan Harakânî Research and Application Center and the Department of Turkish Language and Literature of Kafkas University in Kars, Turkey, the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences in Baku, and Bukhara International University in Uzbekistan.
