The Balkan History Association was represented by its president, Mihai Dragnea at the eighth edition of Colloquia Ceranea, an annual conference on Byzantine and Slavic studies, which was organized by the Waldemar Ceran Research Centre for the History and Culture of the Mediterranean Area and South-East Europe (Ceraneum) at the University of Łódź, Poland (7-9 May 2026).
