The Editor is the head of the journal, and is mainly responsible for the scientific quality of its content. He is the primary decision-maker for all submitted manuscripts. His duties include the following: overviewing the submission process, subjecting the articles to peer review, communication with authors about decisions on a manuscript’s acceptance or rejection, forwarding to the Publisher any institutional subscription inquiries, appointing editorial staff, submission of issue to Publisher, evaluation and approval of thematic issues, production and distribution processes.

The Assistant Editor supports the Editor in preparing articles for publication. Together they edit articles for style and length, perform language editing, proofread, and ensure that authors adhere to the Submission Guidelines.

Members of the Editorial Board are appointed by the Editor. Editorial Board members undergo a partial rotation every one or two years, with members joining, being removed, or continuing for another term. The Editorial Board reviews manuscripts according to the peer review policy. Furthermore the members of the Editorial Board make recommendations to the Editor regarding the quality of manuscripts and recommend external reviewers. The members can also write book reviews on topics related to their field of research and different time periods.
